Watermelon "Little Fire" - Citrullus lanatus.

An early-ripening variety: 70-80 days from emergence to harvest. It is a tried and true performer, bearing fruit stably even in the climatic conditions of Estonia.
The main vine does not exceed 1.8 m in length. The fruits are thin-skinned, weighing 2-2.5 kg. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and aromatic. The variety is resistant to anthracnose and true powdery mildew.
Agrotechnics.
For greenhouses: sowing for seedlings 05-10.IV, planting out 15-25.V.
Plant shaping: the main stem is tied to a trellis, the side shoots are blinded (removed) up to a height of 50 cm. Subsequent lateral shoots are pinched off after the female flower. Hand pollination is recommended. 3-4 fruits are left on the plant, placing them in support nets.
